FasterCures / The Center for Accelerating Medical Solutions is a new organization dedicated to shortening the time it takes to find cures, improved treatments and effective prevention of the most deadly and debilitating diseases. Mike and Dr. Hood were joined in the discussion about accelerating the rate of finding medical solutions by Andrew von Eschenbach, M.D., director of the National Cancer Institute; David Baltimore, Ph.D., Nobel Laureate in Medicine and president of the California Institute of Technology; Gordon Binder, managing partner of Coastview Capital and former Amgen CEO; Richard Merkin, M.D., CEO of Heritage Provider Network; and Alan Robinson, M.D., executive associate dean of the UCLA School of Medicine.
