Mike congratulates Marisol Leon, one of nine 2003 Milken Scholars. Leon, who graduated from Crossroads High School in Santa Monica, Calif., excelled academically, was a student leader and served as editor of the school's newspaper, which won the Columbia Scholastic Press Association's Gold Crown award. Leon is now studying interational relations at Yale University. Over the past 14 years, the Milken Family Foundation has recognized more than 200 outstanding graduating high school students with a commitment for four years of financial assistance, career-related counseling and internships, opportunities for volunteerism and a graduate fund to assist with preparatory courses for either graduate school or the world of work.
