Mike meets with Nancy Goodman Brinker, the newest board member of FasterCures/ The Center for Accelerating Medical Solutions. Brinker is the founder of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and formerly the U.S. Ambassador to Hungary. Brinker founded the Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, the largest private funding source of breast cancer research and community outreach programs, after her sister died from breast cancer. The Prostate Cancer Foundation, which Mike founded in 1993, is the largest philanthropic source of prostate cancer research funding.
