Entertainer/composer/producer Lionel Richie and producer/songwriter David Foster shared their passion for music and philanthropy during a Late Night discussion with Mike at the Global Conference. Richie and Foster shared experiences from their early careers and what influenced their musical visions, and then performed an impromptu jam session. Richie highlighted his commitment to education, and announced that The Lionel Richie Foundation, which will be housed at his alma mater, Tuskegee University, will support internships and a distance-learning program. Foster spoke about his efforts through the David Foster Foundation to provide financial support to Canadian families with children in need of life-saving organ transplants.
