George Washington University (GW) President Steven Knapp, Milken Institute CEO Michael Klowden, GW Dean Lynn Goldman, Nelson Carbonell, president of the GW Board of Trustees, and Mike gathered at the announcement of the Milken Institute School of Public Health. The Milken Institute contributed $40 million to support new and ongoing research and scholarships; the Milken Family Foundation contributed $10 million to support the Milken Institute School dean's office, including a newly created public health scholarship program; and the Sumner M. Redstone Charitable Foundation contributed $30 million to create the Sumner M. Redstone Global Center for Prevention and Wellness. |
