Mike and Lori were honored with medals at the graduation of the Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University (GW). With Mike and Lori are GW Chairman of the Board Nelson Carbonell, Lynn Goldman, dean of the School of Public Health, and GW President Steven Knapp. The Milken Institute contributed $40 million to support new and ongoing research and scholarships at the Public Health school; the Milken Family Foundation contributed $10 million to support the school's dean's office, including a newly created public health scholarship program; and the Sumner M. Redstone Charitable Foundation contributed $30 million to create the Sumner M. Redstone Global Center for Prevention and Wellness.
