Christine Lagarde, Managing Director and Chairwoman of the International Monetary Fund, was interviewed during the opening plenary of the 2019 Milken Institute Global Conference. Lagarde was the first woman to serve as finance minister of a G8 nation, and since the Global Conference has been nominated to become president of the European Central Bank.
